Parents, the college application process has a lot of moving parts. You know the admissions essay is important, but it's hard to know how (and how much) to support your student. I’ll coach them one-on-one to write an authentic essay that helps them stand out to colleges and strengthens their application.

Why Voice College Essays?

Guidance, not ghostwriting - The strongest college essays come from the student, not an overzealous editor. My role is to spark the right ideas and help students share something distinctly them with college admissions teams.

Relevant expertise - As a longtime writer and editor, I know how to help students craft strong, memorable essays. I have a background as a freelance copywriter for colleges and universities around the U.S. and the tutoring and SAT/ACT prep industry.

A straightforward process - From choosing the right Common Application prompt to polishing a final draft, I work one-on-one with students to get them to a finished essay they're proud of (without the panic or writer's block).

Authenticity by design - No AI, no templates. My job is to guide each student toward the essay only they can write. Every word in a final essay belongs to the student, which is how it should be.
